I already said my piece about this, but I said Parv over Osten because I'd much rather see the inactive go rather than someone who is here. Granted, Osten being here isn't much more than Parv and he annoys people.
But Skupin said this to me (this is in my own words):
Someone who is inactive is someone we can pick up the slack for. Someone who purposefully screws up a challenge for us, no matter what the intentions, is a bomb just waiting to go off. We KNOW how Parv will hinder us, but Osten in the first challenge actually worked AGAINST us, his own tribe. Who knows what Osten will do in the next challenge. Either he will prove us wrong and prove strong, or he will fail again. The question is, are we willing to take the chance on him, or should we just "Cut him loose" as the treemail said?
I also feel there wasn't much DISCUSSION, just I'm doing this because Osten is like this and I'm not changing my mind. People like that divide the tribe.
So, that's my piece. Right now I have Osten down because I don't want to go against the rest of the tribe, but if we decide to vote Parv I am more than willing. =)

You did a great job of paraphrasing what I said.
My exact words were: 7 of us can make up for 1 inactive, 7 of us cannot make up for 1 person who will intentionally screw up this tribe.
Yes we won the first challenge. But we really got lucky. Had the results come up differently and we were tied with Calua after the first two rounds, then what he did by NOT working with his teammates of John and Parv, then we would have lost and we would not have won that last challenge. We were very lucky to have our other two teams be very strong. The orginal plan was to have a group chat and discuss whether we wanted to keep Osten or keep Parvati. However an hour or two later someone decided that we should vote Osten and that they were not changing their mind. Yes Osten messed up in the first challenge and has gotten under a lot of people's skins... but atleast he is here. This is not a speech to save Osten I just think we needed to discuss this as a tribe rather then just be told what to do. People are being thrown under the bus for this one easy vote... and that is not how a unified tribe works. This is not how I wanted to play the game nor how I wanted our tribe to play. A unified tribe wins challenges but a tribe that is given orders on how to vote is not. Voting people off should be a group decision and I feel that this decision should be considered more. If in the end people truly want Osten gone I will accept it. But i think people are following the leader because they don't want to speak up. I came to play honestly and speak my mind and I don't like what the tribe is doing and we are only at the first vote. I think we need to regroup and re-unify as a tribe. Brandon Johnson how often do you see the majority of this tribe online at the same time to do a group chat? Yes it's a great idea in theory but in reality getting the majority of us online to decide on a vote is damn near impossible. This tribe seems to have very different schedules and are online at many different hours of the day. Hell, John is who knows how many hours ahead of us all and so he isn't on AIM with the majority of the rest of us. The majority of this conversation took place and I was out most of the day and just now sitting down to even look at my computer.
You call Osten here but what has he actually done? He comes on the boards to yell "yaw yaw yaw blah blah blah I'm the MVP" blah blah blah. What about that is helping anyone on this tribe?
I know that you are referring to me as being this so-called "leader" but I simply stated that I was voting Osten. I never said that you or anyone else had to. I can chose to vote who I want and I reserve the right to not change my mind.
Now I'm going to go put in my vote and whoever else wants to vote Osten is more than welcome to. Whoever wants to vote Parv is more than welcome to.
