Am I surprised? Not in any sense of the word. For some reason it took until I actually got down to the final 3 that I realized how big a hole I have dug for myself. I never really noticed how close they were until I realized that it was just them three in the game. He absolutely did not make the right move. I'm hated by at least one of the jurors here, and I completely sucked in the individual challenges. Elyse kicked major ass, won a majority of the immunities, and played a great game. The only chance Skupin had was against me. Now he's screwed. Come final 5 I was like a 5th wheel, and I knew how difficult it would be to make it to the end. Okay guys, argue all you want. I don't think I really made any huge mistakes in this game. I was in a terrible spot just because of chance, not because of any moves I made. This may be the only game where I had basically no control and had to base my entire game upon what other people would do and how I could use that to my advantage. I was never able to just directly make something good happen for me, I had to have this intricate plan to make sure that I stick around or make it through some of the following rounds. The only thing I legitimately regret is voting out Eliza over Ibrehem. I just spoke to Eliza much more and I felt that she really had a lot more passion and could have changed the game drastically. But that was at a point where I was in a good position and I really didn't want to jeopardize that. If this were my fault, I'd regret not getting rid of Skupin at the final 4. Unfortunately Christa basically shot herself in the foot by accident which indirectly sent me packing after. I forgot to thank you for that. Elyse. I have such history with Skupin and I've just recently grown to really appreciate him(her) as a person, but I don't think he's played nearly as good as a game as Elyse has. I do have a jury speech planned, and I do need some questions answered, but right now I'm giving the edge to Elyse. Very easy. 1. Elyse - Don't really need to explain 2. Skupin - Don't really need to explain 3. Myself - I had a tremendous underdog story and was one immunity away from winning the entire game. 4. Christa - Entire Redemption Island story arc. Great underdog. 5. Alex - Very good player, huge threat. 6. Mikayla - Amazing player and ally, she really did well. 7. Brandon - Leader, played a great game, taken out basically by a twist. So the entire final 8 minus John. |
