Welcome to your first challenge!
While immunity is not on the line, this challenge is very important and could completely determine your fate in this game.
Tonight, you will be playing for the opportunity to become tribe captains. As captains, you will pick your tribe, pick your color and pick your name! You don't get anything extra, though. This is only for the opportunity to become a tribe captain.
Hopefully if you get it, you'll fair a little better than last season's captains.
As some of you have speculated, this challenge is similar to last seasons captain's challenge. You will be competing in 3 legs of a race, which you will work together to win. Eventually though, you'll be competing against those that you previously worked with.
For this first leg, there are 3 sand pits, and they'll each fit 4 players. Each of you must claim a spot in a pit, and then you'll move your group through the pit and under a log.
Do so by posting the following:
[NAME] jumps into sand pit [#]
The # will either be 1, 2, 3 or 4.
Once all 4 players are in their pit, the group can start digging to get under the log. Do so by posting:
[Name] digs

You CANNOT start until your group is full.
Once all 4 members in your pit have done this, you are finished with the first leg, and you'll wait for the other groups to finish. The first two groups to finish will move on to the next leg. The 6 people who are unable to get into a pit will be eliminated off the bat, while the group of 4 who take the longest to finish this task will also be eliminated.
Once you are done, you will wait until we have tallied up the leg, and the two groups of four to finish first will move on to Leg #2.
Leg #1 is to be done entirely in this thread.
To recap: Claim a pit that doesn't have 4 players yet. Once your pit has 4 players, each of you will make a Dig post, 20 times. Once your group has made its 20 posts, you'll wait to move on to leg #2, where there will be new rules.
You may NOT begin until 10:00pm EST.
