Tribal Council #1 - Calua
Welcome to your first Tribal Council Calua.
You guys showed promise in the challenge, unfortunately it wasn't enough.
Questions
Ashley: As the person who assembled this tribe, are you having any regrets now that you lost? Do you feel that this tribe can beat Mahtava?
Bob: Are you forming any friendships on this tribe yet? Are any alliances becoming apparent?
Candice: How do you base your vote tonight? Strength or alliances?
Christa: Are you concerned about your safety since you didn't get to do the challenge?
Colby: How's life on Calua? Is everyone getting along, or are people not fitting in?
Eliza: Do you feel that you have a disadvantage since you entered the game a bit later? Do you feel that you proved your worth to the tribe?
Ibrehem: Is there a weak link on this tribe?
Jenna: How big of a factor is Redemption Island at this stage of the game, knowing that whoever you vote out tonight could be back?
Miki: How safe are you feeling? Would you be surprised if it was you tonight?
Be sure to vote in the "Voting History" thread provided to you in your confessionals. You have 24 hours to do so. Any vote after 24 hours will not count, and if all the votes are in, we reserve the right to post results early. Be sure to leave a bootlist to prevent self voting. Also make sure you answer these questions and have some confessionals for this round!

Friendships are clearly forming friendships and alliances are being formed but none are obvious, atleast I do not believe so

Ibrehem: Is there a weak link on this tribe?
It depends how you look at it. What defines a weak link? The dictionary defines weak as "not strong; liable to yield, break, or collapse under pressure" and link as "anything serving to connect one part or thing with another; a bond or tie"
So if you put those together, it is someone who cannot pull their weight, and help the rest of the tribe. Do we determine who is weak by challenge performance, or by their social game play?
Right now as we get going, it is hard to separate the strong from the weak because we are one challenge in. I do think one person though may be a liability later on.
*everyone stares at Ibe*

Candice: How do you base your vote tonight? Strength or alliances?
I think it's just so early in the game that alliances are hard to form and hard to figure out. I think that we do need to win some challenges and focus on how we could successfully do that.

Do you feel that you have a disadvantage since you entered the game a bit later? Do you feel that you proved your worth to the tribe?
At first, I really felt like I had a big disadvantage because everyone had a time to get to know each other, while I was the last person to make the cast. I was really afraid that people were going to reject me because replacements are not very welcome in some places, butI couldn't be more wrong.
Everyone in Calua received me with open arms and I'm glad that I am part of this tribe. I feel like we are a very good tribe and we only lost tonight's Immunity Challenge because the other tribe posted more and faster than us, but I believed we can definitely turn the tables upside down and completely dominate this game.
In this Immunity Challenge, I really feel like I proved that I'm worthy of staying in this game. I really tried to bring my A-game and post as much as I can, and I actually think that I did what I wanted to do. I hope everyone in this tribe agrees with me, because I want this tribe to be strong and united, and I feel like I can help everyone reach this goal.

Still to early to tell, everyone's getting along for now

Jenna: How big of a factor is Redemption Island at this stage of the game, knowing that whoever you vote out tonight could be back? Well this is a big factor in anyone's game! I mean the person who you voted out has a chance at coming back into the game! Which could hurt you. They could come back with revenge and want to take you right out, or they could understand and help you. But I doubt that they would help you out. So it's defiantly a scary thought.

Christa: Are you concerned about your safety since you didn't get to do the challenge?
Of course, this early in the game there isn't a lot of information to go on, and not being able to do the first challenge is not going to be perceived well. I just hope I get a second chance to prove to my tribe that I can be a very strong player.

Of course I don't have any regrets. I love everybody that's on this tribe. And of course we can beat Mahtava. It just had to happen that they got lucky this time around.

Miki: How safe are you feeling? Would you be surprised if it was you tonight?
I can't say I feel safe cause no one is ever safe unless they have immunity. But I would be surprised if I went home. Who wouldn't be?
