Tribal Council #2 - Mahtava
Welcome to your first Tribal Council Mahtava.
Questions
Alex: How are you basing your vote tonight? Strength, activity, alliances?
Brandon: You seem to be quite religious Brandon! How do you feel about the idea of redemption that Redemption Island brings to the game?
Elyse: How do you think this tribe compares to Calua? Do you feel that your tribe is stronger than them overall?
John: Tell me how life on Mahtava is! Are you getting along with your tribemates?
Judd: As the person who assembled this tribe, do you feel that you're safe to a certain degree? Or do you feel just as vulnerable as the rest?
Nat B: It's well known that you played in season one of this series. Do you think this paints a target on your back? Should it?
Osten: You seem to not exactly be fitting in! Do you think you deserve to stay?
Parvati: Are you concerned about your safety since you've been notably absent thus far? Do you deserve to stay?
Skupin: At this stage of the game, what's more important for your tribe, activity, or unity?
Be sure to vote in the "Voting History" thread provided to you in your confessionals. You have 24 hours to do so. Any vote after 24 hours will not count, and if all the votes are in, we reserve the right to post results early. Be sure to leave a bootlist to prevent self voting. Also make sure you answer these questions and have some confessionals for this round!

A bit of everything, really. Our tribe is definitely strong, we just didn't have enough people on tonight.

Skupin: At this stage of the game, what's more important for your tribe, activity, or unity?
I don't think either is more important than the other. Activity is very important but unity is always important. I do have to say that MOST of this tribe is united. And almost all of it is active.[/b]

As the person who assembled this tribe, do you feel that you're safe to a certain degree? Or do you feel just as vulnerable as the rest?
Definitely not. I was a captain for a small amount of the game. I may have shaped how the beginning of the game would go, but I am just as vulnerable and able to leave as the rest of the people in this game.
i don't feel entitled to anything.

I think its a great oppurtunity for people to prove their worth in this game. We are all humans here and we make mistakes. Redemption Island seems to be a good place to make up for mistakes you made in the game.

I think we are definitely a strong tribe, but I guess alot of us were busy tonight so we couldnt do the challenge. But I think that when its not live and is based on actual skill we will keep winning.

It is well known and I am not one to hide it. I feel like since I let everyone know ONCE I signed up, they know I'm straightforward. I don't think it should paint a target on me because I like this tribe. I mean how couldn't I after dealing with Gwadatim?!?! Oh and Osten you suck (:

I am not feeling comfortable with this vote because I feel like we are not deciding as a tribe.
The orginal plan was to have a group chat and discuss whether we wanted to keep Osten or keep Parvati. However an hour or two later someone decided that we should vote Osten and that they were not changing their mind.
Yes Osten messed up in the first challenge and has gotten under a lot of people's skins... but atleast he is here. This is not a speech to save Osten I just think we needed to discuss this as a tribe rather then just be told what to do.
If the majority of the people truly want Osten out of the game then I will be happy to follow it but I feel like they are being spoken for by one person.
People are being thrown under the bus for this one easy vote... and that is not how a unified tribe works. This is not how I wanted to play the game nor how I wanted our tribe to play. A unified tribe wins challenges but a tribe that is given orders on how to vote is not.
Voting people off should be a group decision and I feel that this decision should be considered more. If in the end people truly want Osten gone I will accept it. But i think people are following the leader because they don't want to speak up.
I came to play honestly and speak my mind and I don't like what the tribe is doing and we are only at the first vote. I think we need to regroup and re-unify as a tribe.

Hmm Osten has a point
But that first Challenge he didint really help us at all but we still ended up winning and then sitting him out and then losing
Yes Parvati has been inactive BUT Whoever of those 2 dont go now will probably go next time.
And Brandon, Osten having the Homophobic Posts about me really hurt my feelings, And a Unified tribe needs to also be nice to eachother and Osten is not being nice to me at all right now

I'm not saying voting out Osten makes our tribe not unified... i'm saying the way people have decided on Osten is not unified.
I have been told "I am voting Osten no matter what other people think." I think we should decide as a tribe what is best for our tribe. If that is voting out Osten than I am fine with that, I just want our tribe to decide as a whole.
