Christa and Jenna...welcome!
You both know the stakes by now. The winner of this duel will immediately be placed back into this game and will once again be in the running to win the title of Soul Survivor.
Now, originally this duel was going to be live, but Christa couldn't be torn away from her final, and since I'm going through the same hell right now...I understand! So instead of making you all wait until tomorrow night, this duel will until you can both finish it.
It works in three consecutive, timed parts:
Part I:
The first part will involve posting. We've given you each your own subforum on the main page to do this in.
Each of you will start locked inside of a wooden cage. You'll have to retrieve a machete and use it to cut open a box which holds a key. When you're ready, you'll post the following.
[Name] unties rope (20 times)
[Name] releases machete (1 time)
[Name] cuts box (30 times)
[Name] retrieves key from box (1 time)
[Name] opens gate (1 time)
*Any mistakes will incur a 1 minute penalty to your final time*
The minute you finish that part, a puzzle will be posted in your thread.
Part II:
You'll need to assemble the jigsaw puzzle as quickly as you can. Once you do, take a screenshot and post it in the thread.
Part III:
You'll notice that there are letters scattered around in the image of the puzzle. AFTER you post your completed puzzle, take those letters and unscramble them. You'll find a phrase. That phrase is the name of an AIM chatroom. Invite yourself to that chatroom, where Brett and I will be waiting. The moment you enter, your time will stop.
When you're ready to attempt this, contact either myself or Brett. You MUST contact us so that we can track your progress. You have 24 hours to start it. Your time will start the minute you begin, and stop the minute you enter the final room.
